Any sign the millage is not as advertised walk away.

FSH do the math and make sure it is consistent. Ask for a Enatis report to see how many numberplates the car had beforehand, try and trackdown the last owner to corroborate the millage.

Might be the shitty photo or it's just that steering wheel looks a wee bit worn for 50 000km.

My thoughts exactly.

The gearknob also looks pretty worn out. Those tyres are cheap 'n nasty. Wonder where else the owner went cheap:mmm:

The interior looks much older than 2008 + 55000kms [pics below].
There were no comments on the motorplan, but that was till 14 September 2012
The last service was at 39000kms at a bmw dealership in Boksburg.
I also noticed that this vehicle was on sale on autotrader at capital auto, i found a temporary registration with capital auto as the owner that was dated Jan 2015.
The vehicle was at BMW northcliff for a quality check, i will try to get the report for the check.

The info that i will need from the dealership will be

1) What happened between 2012 and today
2) How many owners did the car have
3) Were there any accidents.

Don't kind yourself. a BMW dealer quality check means as much as a cheque written in pencil.

Unless there are 3 invoices for services done yearly from a reputable shop whom you can confirm the millage it's a walk away haircut car.

In comparison, my vehicle, is a 2008 edition with 56000km on the clock. My interior does not look like that at all. I have very little noticeable wear and tear if any. One can view the pics of the interior in the classifieds since it still for sale.

Yeah that looks a bit worn.

And don't trust the stealership report as I did one before my purchase and it was worth nothing

I drive a 2011 corsa bakkie as a daily with 125000kms on it and the interior is much better knick and everything is plastic.. Run away from this.

If the interior looks like that, imagine the abuse the owner put the engine through?

Walk away my friend.
There are a lot of other second hand BMWs for sale at very good prices. With the downturn of the economy now days there are a lot of second hand BMWs for sale which are still in very good condition and low kilos. Second hand dealerships now bend over backwards to sell cars.
My 2008 E90 has almost 200 000 km on the clock and the inside still looks brand new. If you plan to buy a second hand BMW, do yourself a favour and take out an extended warranty. It is really worth it and it gives you a lot of peace of mind.

Looks like someone was either tracking it quite a lot or doing lots of handbrake turns. Look at the wear on that handbrake! Dafuq!

This doesn't look legit man, maybe look at something else.

Good Luck!
