e90 hood sensor

Good day guys hope you all well ,im currently driving a E90 2007...hit a pothole some time ago and now i have a warning light going on which shows my bonnet is open does anyone maybe know where that sensor might be located and if ever i can replace it and where ...

The bonnet sensor switch is mounted just above the strut brace.

Take it out, clean it and spray it with WD40.

Alternatively, just disconnect it until you can replace it.

i was so apologetic even had a car wash to make it up hahaha
