E90 headlight

Good day fanatics,

Hey guys, I have a question my left beam light failed and went off, the day time circle light still works though, this might seem like a stupid question but can I buy the bulb only on xenon lights or do i need to replace the entire headlight? I've never seen xenon bulbs before.

It's a 2009 facelift model. E90

Any help would be appreciated.
