E90 320i worries

Hi guys.

I bought a 2006 320i with 113000km about a month ago...

Since I got it, it started making some curious noises.

The first one is the clutch... or I think it's the clutch. It might be the thrust bearing. It is similar to this.
The car also sometimes struggles to go into first and sometimes second...
After driving a while, the clutch also jutters when I don't give it enough gas, where when it's cold, it doesn't.

The second one is this.

The only thing is, on cold start, the car feels brand new. No noises, not from the engine or even clutch. But, when I drive it for about 5 minutes, the noises starts kicking in and gets louder up to a certain point...

I serviced the car about 500km's ago. New oil filter and oil. 15-40 if I remember correctly. So the lubrication shouldn't be the problem here.

Any ideas?

Dude have a look at my thread. I ended up replacing the dual mass flywheel and the clutch. Cost me 10k to replace. The thread name is my turn for advice needed. I had exactly the same.

Thanks Dippies.

I had a look at the thread... Sounds similar. I have to add that my clutch noise isn't as loud as the one in the video, so it might have some time left still.

The issue I have, is that it shudders... So it might be the flywheel as well. It also makes a noise when I'm driving.

I use to have a 1983 Honda Ballade, with the same thrustbearing noises, and I drove it for many years like that. But, I would still like to have it fixed.

My dad and I will be able to replace the clutch ourselves. I will just need to buy a clutch somewhere and install it, and maybe skim the flywheel while it's open.

My main concern is the noise coming from the eccentric shaft though. Don't know if it's serious or not... Especially when the noise only appears when the engine's hot.

I had the L.U.K. Clutch and Flywheel fitted, Duncan Ross in Midrand did it for me.

i think its def both and like Ross said its better to do both while the gearbox is out.
