Hey guys !

Please help I am loosing myself with this car ! I was told that to decat my car wil help with this and that so because this car was very poorly looked after by previous owner I am doing everything I can do get it back to be a trusworthy car but its like like car have been cursed !! Always something ?? After the decat the car twice did not want to start at all. Ignition but not unlocking steering and stuck for 30 min then suddenly it starts ,second time I was stuck for 4 hrs !!! What and why !!?! Please help if you could suggest anything it would help.Software a mini cat back into the system or what ??

Willkommen, sorry to hear about all the problems..

You should have the codes read to see what the problems could be. Not sure why you would need a decat, that surely would not solve any issues on a petrol car of that age.. So yes have codes read first.

Forget about the decat, its got nothing to do with a starting problem. I suggest you get the car to a knowledgable independent who can properly diagnose the issue.

Well the code popped up is cc-id 719 and with the car on a lift pic in yellow ?

This happened just after the decat happened as well ?prob something to do with that or not ??

I have the same default code cc-id-719 and cannot start the car.
How did you fix it?

I removed the steering wheel column and check the steering wheel lock but it's looks ok.

It would be good to know how you solve your issue.

I don't think the decat would have anything to do with your car not starting. I did a decat on my previous 320i 2006 model and only had issues when i drove out the exhaust shop. It came out the sensors were swoped. After swopping them around i never had any issues. So when your car doesn't want to start does the engine turn or do you press the button and nothing happens?

after removing the Cats, do you know if they put back your sensors?

some car require "cat foolers" after a decat.
