E90 320d service question

Just a quick question regarding service intervals.

The previous owner last serviced my car on 1 Feb 2018 @ 119 xxx kms. The car is now on approaching 126 000kms and the service indicator states +/- 3500 kms to go for oil change.

Should have it serviced by 01 Feb so that its exactly a year since the last service, or should I go with what the service indicator tells me?

Its a standard 2011 320d (manual) by the way.

Thanks

you should aim to service the car atleast every 10000kms or 1 year, depending on how you use it...if your commute is less than 5kms one way...you should use shorter service intervals:thumbs:

Hey,

Ever since my 06 320D auto came out of mp, I have been doing oil changes every 10 000km's. For me, I wait for the 10 000km to reach and book it in as my service indicator says every 15 000km

Hope this helps you.

I have a 2012 E90 320D , I service the car at 8-10k km , its not a hectic price and just ensures your cars motor is well lubricated at all times .

Yeah I'm definitely keeping it under 10k kms per year. It would probably take me another 4 months to do that 3000 kms. Was just wondering if diesels require you to stick to the 12 month intervals as well. Its probably best to just get it done now. Thanks

To answer your question have it done 1 Feb '19. Since that is a year since its last service.
