E90 320d engine noise

Evening guys

Finallly got my dream car can you believe.

In the past 2 weeks I`ve noticed that my E90 320d pre LCI engine noise have dramatically increased have any one any recommendation where I can start looking for the problem.

oil level ? maybe an oil change to start off with ?

Scan the car for codes.

Have the car inspected by you're mechanic.

oops sorry for the vague description. but very difficult to really give a reliable description. It is just the noise of the E90 pre LCi 320d just the audible noise level of the engine just got hole lot loader.

My mechanic ran diagnostics and 2 of the glow plugs through out an error. Other than that no other error codes.

My oil level is still fine. Will do the oil change none the less and see if that reduces the engine noise level.
