E90 - 320d Abs Warning

Hi Guys
I got a (ABS) warning sign when i started up the other day and it went away.
Lastnight i started and the (ABS) sign came on with the traction light and then both went off.
What and were should i start looking.

Wheel Speed Sensor or Steering Angle Sensor, I had the same issue on my E90 320d LCI, the Steering Angle Sensor needed to be reset/calibrated

Had the same issue, Remove the wheel speed sensors behind each wheel (One bolt holds it in place) and clean them with a cloth.

did you recently replace battery perhaps?

Hi Guys
I only replaced 1 rear tyre and did new brake pads all round.
Still on my original battery.

How would you know which wheel sensor is gone.

If you replaced only 1 tyre that could be the cause of the problem. The circumference of the new tyre will be larger than the other rear tyre which will lead to a variance in wheel speed between the two wheels.

It’s always advisable to replace both tyres on the same axle at one time. Especially when you’ve done a fair bit of mileage on the one tyre and the other one is brand new.

Hi

The older tyre has about 75% thread still.
I replaced the one tyre about 2 months ago and only got the warning sign last week.
