E87 120d aux coding help

Hi there gents.
My sister has an e87 120d that she loves to bits but the aux in the vehicle has stopped working due to the previous owner that had a battery that died just before the sale to my sis. The head unit doesn't have the aux mode anymore and from what I have heard it would need to be coded again. Has anybody had this done before or can maybe point me in the right direction?
