Ive been a quite member of the forum for the past year and a half and decided its about time I have my own thread:tiptoe:
Firstly last yesterday driving home from my girlfriends place my car decided to leak a lot of fluid driving in traffic and the temperature started climbing. To avoid overheating and the needle reaching the dreaded red zone I pulled over cooled the motor down gradually and called a tow to tow me home. Now we all know a1exander of Axis engine works to be a whiz with BMW motors. So I gave him a call this morning and he said I can bring the car in. Whilst the car gets the cooling sorted might as well do the vanos seals and rattle kit and a service. Once that's done I have on order powerflex bushes from Moranor where I will get that done by Ralf at speedway motors. Once that done will get a full respray from a our very own speedcops friend Coisman as I have a few dents and scrapes on the fenders and front bumper. In any event I would love some fresh paint on the car... Like the title goes.... Im giving myself 2 years to fully restore her to better than factory standards. A few surprises will also follow... Pics will be posted ASAP:rollsmile:
