E83 Sunroof sunshade repair

Hi All

So i am having an issue on my daughter 2009 X3.
The sunshade for the sunroof clips have broken. which has jammed up the rear sun shade.
The clips are called sun shade runner clips. Large black clip. I believe the X5 X3 have the same clips.
So where do i find them at a decent price. I can import them but the review on them is not to good.
Dealer sells a sunshade repair kit but that is somewhere between R3000 and R5000.

Any idea where i can get it from.
Will really appreciate the help

Maybe try giving Webasto a call to see if they can assist?

I can see many individual parts for the E83 sunroof mechanism on realoem. Looks like nr 18 are the ones you need? If so, just order from the dealer with the correct part number.

i believe it is the last part in number 7.
So i have been told.
Bmw dealer is R2417 for the no:7 kit

Hi all
So a quick update.
The part i require comes in the no:9 package.
I did try to order it on Amazon but the seller posted it via mail from turkey.
Well quess what.
It got to S.A and has disappeared. No trace of it.
the seller has refunded my money. Great on seller part kak on my part cause I don't have any parts.

So it seems that i will have to source the parts from the dealers.
