E83 Engine qustion

Hi Gents

I am curious regarding the X3 E83 2010 models, the last ones that came out.

The 2009 and 2010 2.0D and the 3.0D models, did they came out with the same engines as the rest of the Bmw ranges had, the 135kw 2.0D motor and the 3.0D 180kw motor, or did they still use the older 130kw and 160kw motors?

w.r.t the 20d, they would have had the 2009 might have had the m47 engine, if its a late model...then N47 ...so 130kw version :thumbs:

30d would be 160kw (could be wrong here)

My 2009 2.0d MSport is definitely N47.

Hmm ok, so come with the pre LCI E90 engines.

If they did come with the LCI engines, they would be amazing bargains!

Especially if they did come with the 180kw Lci 3.0D Motor

The E83 used either the M47 (110kw) or the N47 (130kw) in the 20d.

The 30d only came with M57 motor producing 160kw. Some earlier models came with 150kw.
