technical E82 N55 coolant amount

Hello Guys,

I'm trying to find out how much coolant would the 135i take if its been bled completely dry? From what I Find online its shows between 8-11 liters of fluid?

I see the BMW coolant shows 1 part coolant to 1 part distilled water, I would just like to know if I need 4 or 6 bottles of it.

And lastly has anyone replaced their radiator with the Nissens one?

When I changed my radiator, I bought a 5l blue coolant by goldwagen (dont remember the name). I used the entire 5l and topped up with normal water till the bottle was full. The I let the car bleed itself and the level was where it was meant to be.

If you dont know yet, To bleed, open your door and push down the latch so the car can think its closed. Ignition on, then put the heaters on max, then push the petrol pass kick down and hold till you hear the water pump start priming.

Leave it for like 5 or so minutes, you will think its done but it starts again.

When complete, remember to pull on the handle before closing the door

Apologies for the necro - did you ever go with/source the Nissens rad? I understand they're the OE supplier.

Yes I did from silverton radiators and car is still running.
