E70 X5 - Handbrake & iDrive Q's...

Hi Guys,

So Bruma Auto BMW refuses to admit that the stupid electronic handbrake in the X5 has major flaws... (2013 X5 3.0d M-Sport)

It refuses to release when reversing, so bad that you have to force the car to creep backwards and then slam on the brakes to release them.

Is there a known recall on it? Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

The satnav, must you really manually put it on night mode? The 435i has a auto day/night option, the X5 not as far as I can see?

Ive heard of one that caught a light and had extensive fire damage also a 2013

EMF unit always the culprit for faulty handbrake. Ask them to update the software
