E60 questions

I currently have a ford focus ST and a E36 328i as my weekend drives ,I was looking at getting a E60 530i/d to replace both these my question is how much of a difference is there between maintaining an E90 and E60 and are the parts easy to find at midas and other spares shops I don't want to end up at the stealers everytime I need brakes or plugs.

Depends on the parts. Not too much at midas but there's plenty of parts available through other channels besides dealers.
