E60 eyebrows Mod

Afternoon guys.

I'm playing around with the eyebrow lights and thought its worth sharing even though its on early stages. Final plan is to replace the orange eyebrows with the White/Amber strip lights. So far managed to gey hold of the rose blue/amber lights but it gives me an idea of what I wish to achieve. Thanx

This mod is ideal for much older cars as demonstrated below:


It was much easier to apply on the the EE90 Corolla and this is where the idea started for me.

Initially I wanted to change the Orange Led's on the eyebrows to white and thought this setup will look cool. So I just placed the Led strip as it is as demonstrated above but didn't like how it looks when the light itself is off.

This is how it looks now with little bit of tint on the eyebrows and eventually installed the Led-strip as it is without the plastic cover. Applied black silicone for insulation.

Eyebrows on the E60 are just sitting on top of the actual headlamp and the challenge is just to remove the original silicone with the lights still attached to the car. So its just time consuming but easy to do. I'm yet to receive the White/Orange Led-strips to complete the mod.
