My E60 only has 60000kms on it, but the a/c compressor bearing is being stubborn and refuses to turn when the a/c is switched on. Free-wheeling of the pulley, when the a/c is switched off, is an effort for the compressor. (lazy b@%stard)
Question: Can the bearing be replaced in-situ, or doe I have to do the dirty of removing the entire contraption ?
BTW, It virtually impossible to turn that steering wheel if the a/c is switched on, a tad tight when the a/c is off and vehicle is on idle.
