e53 X5 tail pipes

Any idea?

I fitted those big tailpipes that you get on the V8, but they look small on
in the provided hole? is the V8 exhuast exit on the bumper smaller that the diesel?

Nope! Same size. I have the 4.8is, it has a plastic surround that clips into the hole, dont know if that maybe decreases the size. Post some pics would love too see!

Maybe change the exhaust tips? Stock 4.4i pipes look a bit small I think.

Thats true Opposite, mine is the big oval units, they are substancially bigger than the quad pipe setup!

Those are Sebring exhaust tips on that particular X5, made a big difference to the looks. Stock tips are black and aren't as striking.

this what it currently looks like with then new tail pipes. as you can see the surround is quite big.

I would have also gone for quad.

But I quite like the look, I don't like it when people fit oversized tips to make it look like the 4.8is'.
