e53 tow bar 13 pin connector

attached the tow bar for the first time today (2 days before the holiday), and to my surprise, the x5's round tail lights connector has about 13 pins. it is completely different to the trailers +- 7 pin connector. help!!!
what do i do now? i only have two effective days before the holiday.

You can get an adapter as far as I remember :thumbs:

Oh yes! Turns out they quiet common. Most camping/ caravan shops have then. Got mine for R125. BMW quoted me R500!
