E46 M3 four door in Sandton ?

So I was up in Johannesburg this weekend , and while driving around Sandton Mall I spotted what looked like a 4 door E46 M3 , I did int get a chance to take a picture but the car really looked 100% perfectly done , Had the correct fenders front and back , bonnet , vents ,Quad exhaust , It really looked like an M3 with for doors. I dont know what engine it had , The wheels were also M3.

Has anyone seen this car before? I think it was blue or silver , It even sounded like an M3 with that tin sort of rattle noise they make.

I was very surprised to see it. It looked so nice.

Not sure if trolling or not, but the back of that image doesn't look like an E46 M3, but a facelift E46 with M3 badge on. Also some other mods to make it look like M3.

spotted that beaut last week in the area
had the china mall m3 plastic chrome grills on the side fenders as well ....

would love to see a proper built one here in SA though :cartel:

No , not that car ,

The one I saw really looked like it had propper OEM E46 parts fitted or customised to fit the shell of a 4 door, the rear tail lamps , fenders everything was changed , It looked properly done .

Even the bumpers , exhaust everything looked correct not aftermarket .

Has anyone done an M3 e46 touring? Was just seeing a concept in another thread, sorry to derail. But I'd love to see a picture of that.

It looked like this , With proper M3 wheels as well . I think it was a blue one .

I would never post about a bad fake that I had seen as its not worth it but this really caught my eye , It was seriously well done and completed to the T . I couldn't fault it , It looked like a factory 4 door M3 . The headlamps bonnet bumper everything at the front was perfect . It even sat low like an M3 would .

Im sure that someone has probably done this in RSA. A few people across the borders have done it so it is very likely that you couldve seen a proper conversion. Big question is whether it was simply cosmetic or whether the engine was also upgraded for R10 000.

There is a e46 sedan that was at bmwfest this year which had a complete m3 overall.

Looks similar but im sure the one I had seen had E46 M3 tail lamps and headlamps on it , How did this guy give the standard bonnet a powerdome?
