E46 M3 dream project

Hi all BMW fans,
Sorry, The Fanatics, just like me.

Long story short, I love this car. Now I can afford one, reality is that when I find one to buy it necessarily won't be in 100% mechanical condition or look fresh
Currently I see them going from R134k up to R280k (excluding csl and ridiculous chance takers),
The reason for this post, is that I need help from the BMW fanatics in order to help get this project off the ground and into a beautiful beast on realistic working man's budget.
I need to find any and all CREDIBLE suppliers and services in the gauteng area.
Stage 1: mechanical work , to get the engine,electronics, and suspension into a great working condition, need mechanics, parts suppliers(also reasonable importers )
Stage 2: paint and body work, (panel beaters, painters, body kits, BMW accessories )
Stage 3: interior and sound customisations
Stage 4 : engine n power mods (good software and engineering work)

hallo bud, currently browse the for sale section on this forum, usually when a M3 comes up it gets advertised there and if it from other websites it also shared. Hope you find one soon. On the stages just browse a bit on the forum there are some that might help you with that also.

The advice I give regarding E46 M3 ownership is to have realistic expectations about what the car will cost to own:

-Buying a cheap one is a recipe for disaster, and we have a saying, "the most expensive M3 is a cheap m3".
-Even buying a good one with 'FSH', will likely need a lot of work to be reliable and fully de-risked.

The biggest problem is the cost of parts. You might have a good supplier for labour, but the parts are expensive. Always.

I relate 100% to the dream, because I had the same dream. However, in order to avoid you dream turning into a nightmare, a harsh reality check is usually in order.
