The title of this thread is a bit misleading. The discussion they have in this video is about how technology might be making cars worse, rather than better.

He simply suggests that an E46 M3, in the context of a pure driving experience (NA engine, good steering, balanced handling, manual gearbox), is an extremely good buy in the context of the pre-tech era. Not that its the best performance car ever.

He's right, though.

The Gt86 is a cool car. It's fun to drive too. But the e46 M3 does everything it does... and then some more. Hence why Chris Harris said, go buy one.

I have posted my comments regarding Matt Farra's review on that vid, and they were deleted. Twice.

Definitely paid to say those things. I've been in a fiesta ST. No way ever in hell does it compare to an M3, let alone a MkV golf GTI.
