:argh: i am so frustrated with my ci. i love my CI, but i have now replaced the lower control arm bushes twice and need to replace it again. i have replace the entire lower control arms left and right which a bought from Suspension parts in Pretoria. It has not even been two years and i have to replace them again. A balljoint on each buggered as well as the control arm bushes on both sides buggered. Any advice? can the ball joints be replaced or do i have to by the whole V-arm again? and where could i get a good quality one? I have also been advised on replacing it with polyurethane bushes? as well as a polyurethane gumbo coupling on the propshaft. Any comment?

I have a buddy that does poly bushes on a countless amount of cars. I suggest poly for the bushes. Don't bother with poly for the prop coupling tho......I've tried that and it failed pathetically wen launched off the line. Go genuine (from the agents) for that. What area are u in? Precision moulding in ottery (cape town) can do the bushes. speak to Riyaadh. Can't help with the ball joints tho. Best of luck.

+1 on the Oem coupling I tried polly and Hd rubber they all failed and broke into 5 or 6 pieces when launching of the line.:nonono:

Meyle most definitely lasts longer... but Powerflex will be the last bush you buy as they come with lifetime warranty...
