e46 front wheel bearing

I think I might need to replace my front bearing and hub, and I was thinking about doing it myself, but some in some tutorials they use a slide hammer, do you know if this is necessary? I used a big ass screw drive when I did the ones on my *cough* Opel

Cheers.

You will break 50 screwdrivers before you even move it. You need a bearing puller to remove it, or I can do it for you. PM me.

Rear bearing more difficult than front bearing as you have to remove the sideshaft first. You still need large bearing pullers to remove it.

I had my rear wheel bearing changed out at the local shop two days ago.
Bearing: R400 from stealers
Labour: R320 discounted to R250...discounted to R60 (Don't ask... :) ) :pimp:

The humming is quiet, I can hear my tractor motor again!
