Hi Guys ...I need your help please . I have a BMW 323 E46 ....I`m trying to get a bit of tone from the car nothing to deep and noisy. I first changed the back box with of the those FX1 sports boxes from super quick got a nice tone on acceleration but very deep inside the car . ( It num`s the ear) got the car de-catted and put back the original now it sounds terrible. What do you recommend .

fit a free flow box where the secondary cats were this will kill the rasp

exactly

I presume when you did the de-CAT, you were left with a long pipe only all the way to your back box

essentially that long pipe would now act like the strings on a double bass music instrument, causing deep droning in the car

you need to break the long pipe with resonator or small free flow box, to stop it from setting up a harmonic vibration

Are you getting any droning from your set up? Manual or Auto?

It`s more off a deep humming sound from the time you start the car . Tones nice on acceleration but annoying when cruising at 100km. Its an auto

Hi The cat was replaced with a straight pipe and after the cat there is another box , I think its the original resonator / centre box . thereafter there is a back box
