E46 breather/vacuum pipe on intake:where does it go?

There is a small breather/vacuum pipe on the intake, where does that breather/vacuum pipe go?

think its the one that fits on the upper intake boot. There is a small plastic elbow that houses 2 pipes....one big and another very small...that elbow pipe breaks...its cheap from agents about R30

its a 318 N42. my car never had that pipe, but yesterday I saw on a friends car there is a pipe.

my car is N42, not M43. its a 2003 318.

and I know how to use realoem, but for N42 there is no vacuum control category on realoem.

Sorry bud. Im jumpy today. My fault. Apologies. i only found the breather/ventilation system.

Not too sure if this is of any help as it doesnt show the actual little pipe extending from the upper intake boot.

Should i come across something better i shall post it here

The small vacuum line actually goes to the fuel filter
It joins number 4&5
