TNT

Also Viper. There are also exhaust shops like PowerFlow, and like a first said TNT, that custom make for the car. TNT branches are R1250 from Masterparts

Thanks for the replies. Who fits them and what do they charge?

Im thinking of doing the stroker conversion and then super charging. If I do the stroker then I would have to obviously remove the motor in which case I will just fit the branches when the motor is put back.

Thx

Why not just sell and buy a faster beemer, 330i/M3 or something?

these aftermarket branches wont fit the stock exhaust without modification... if you can weld its no problem :)

Rolf has some very nice branches for the e46 but they are more than the ones mentioned... but they are awesome

Because I can not find a clean M3 for under R280k and to go and spend R50k to R60k on top of my car for a clean 330i is a waste in my opinion. Especially since its just going to be a toy. I would rather spend R50k to R60k on modifying this one and have something I know is built the way I want it which will be a lot of fun at gymkhana's and track events, than another average car. (330i) I also dont see a M3 being worth an extra R200k on top of my car.....(as a toy)
And yes I know I will not win any contests with this car but it will be a fun car. It currently also does not cost me anything anyway so why not?

Do the viper and TNT branches have the holes for oxygen sensors ? If not you have to cut the standard ones off the headers and weld them to the branches .

You will need a bigger exhaust with the supercharger as you may get 60 kw or so increase in power .

Viper branches in East London for a e36 are about R2995 fitted at powerflow East London.......bring own vaseline :fencelook:

Tnt still fabricates the branches. Masterparts just distribute them. Just remember the gaskets aswell. Branches arent that expensive but i havent found any person who fits them without costing an arm and a leg.

BRUCET... from my experience of having a Supercharged e46, I would recommend, *HIGHLY* recommend, that you get a stronger gearbox and clutch and flywheel. I had to get a new gearbox and flywheel on my car as the stock one couldn't handle the newfound power.

Goodluck with the build.
