Hi guys !!!

Bought a 2004 e46 330i from club motors in pretoria with 86000km on the clock.
Before buying it i made certain that the car was not involved in an accident. Just the front bumper was resprayed but the dealer themselves. I have since noticed that the front fenders are slightly(very) darker the the rest of the bodywork. Could it be just the angle that the car is viewed at that makes the colour appear a bit different?

Apart from this the car moves really nice and there are absolutely no other issues...

By the way the colour is silver grey with a sportpack...

Try tapping lightly on the metal and listen for signs of body-filler. A low 'thud' indicates some body work.

If you're really serious about this: Take the fender(s) off and check for part numbers and look for dents.

My car is also silver grey, and in some light conditions I sometimes look at the panels and think that they are different colours as well. I think its just the flake in the paint that is playing tricks on you.

Mine too. Sometimes the Silver Grey looks lighter or even slightly purple in certain light conditions.

Welcome to the BMW club and nice wheels. I love the E46 330s especially with the Sports Pack.
Is it the Sports Pack II with the Individual body kit? You must post some pictures...

I too had a 'Titansilber' car and it too seemed to have that visual effect
