Gasket is +-600 from BMW, get it there they fit the best and it is not expensive.

on a serious note I had the vanos done last year June around there in my 320i the 2.2 six cylinder all for R1600 including labour fitted by a good bmw mac here in durbz with genuine parts. not sure but I think parts on the 330i are slightly more just to give you an idea.

there are no BMW part numbers or parts for internal seals on the unit not sure what your mech changed if he used "genuine parts" ?

BMW swap out the whole unit not rebuild it

that makes more sense then :)

you have to be careful of ebay seals they use different filler for the Teflon that can wear out the Vanos housing over time Biesan kit uses a better filler that causes no wear to the housing and also seals better against the bore

Sorry @Jason forgot to mention you cant get the seals locally other than Moranor I don't think anyone else sells as I recall he was the only one to purchase from locally.

Having just done this job I give you a following guidelines;

VCG - R500
Vanos Gasket - R100
Vanos line Crush washers - R30
Vanos Bolts - R60
Valve cover rubber plugs R170 (X15)

I'd add the little orange plastic plugs too - R60

BMW Parts R920. Vanos Seals R900, Vanos Ratlle kit R900

You need a new proper silicon, like loctite grey ect. R90, 2 litres of prepsol.

Stuff adds up quickly.
