E46 330d possible injectors

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum but have a problem and need advice.

I drive a stock standard 2004 E46 330d which I bought from my grandfather who only put 45 000km on it in 6 years. From 2010 to now I took the millage to 133000km.
Recently the car started to have shaking idle expecially in the morning. Apart from that it still drives really great. I took it to a guy who is full time employed at a BMW dealership but also works from home. He did a diagnostic test on it and told me that the injectors are faulty and that he will take them out and have them analysed but that I need to budget R3500 per injector. Can anyone advise on what I should do?
I have scouted the forums and apparently injectors should last way longer?

start with a good service and replace all the filters, add a bottle of injector cleaner for the next 3 to 4 tanks of diesel and see if that doesn't help.:thumbs:

Did he inspect the engine mounts? May also be the problem.

He did look at the engine mounts but reckoned they still looked good.

Is there a specific brand of injector cleaner to look for?

Liqui molly or Nf are both good :thumbs:
