The MAF in my car is a Siemens and after doing a lot of research I found that the Hyundai Sonata V6 uses the same MAF and it's a lot cheaper at the Hyundai dealership. I just need to confirm the Siemens part number on my one before going to Hyundai.

the Siemens is way better than the bosch i thought they changed over with the face lift... i thought my maf was going but it turned out to be a vacuum leak...

@moranor - What symptoms did you have? Mine are on cold starts the car would idle at 1000rpm for +- 20sec and the idle will drop to 500rpm and the car would go into limp mode, and it's not drive-able. When I switch the car off and start it again and at the same time keep the revs up until it gets to operating temperature then the car will be fine.

I think before buying a new MAF i need to take the whole intake boot and inspect it, seeing that the car has done almost 300 000km.

I had a misfire about once a month and it would just come and go and when it happened it would miss over all the rpm...
