E46 320i 2000 New Battery

Hi there

Hope you can help me.
I replace my car's battery with a new one and the car was standing for 4 days without a battery before I put in the new one in today.
When I tried to start the car it do not want to. :argh:
Until the replacement of the battery there was no problems in starting the car. Battery was checked and replacement was needed.

I don't know if it's true, but a friend told me he replaced his battery on his 318i with the key in the ignition and the key lost it's programming. He had to take the car in to have the keys reprogrammed. I can't confirm this, but maybe it's possible?

Well I gave all the keys that came with the car a try, non work. All four of them.

All the lights come. the only thing wrong is that the car do not want to start at all.

Might be the transponder unit on the ignition or the starter unit :thumbs:
