In need of your advice, I replaced my old fan clutch and fan blade on my 05 320d yesterday and know the car sounds like a big hoover  ! The fan clutch brand used was AGAPE not knowing if maybe its of kak quality hence the blowing noise.

Thanks

Take the clutch back, it's siezed in engaged mode. :sorry:

Heard by a friend that you should put a mechanical stop on your fan blade, start the car (preferably cold), and let it run for about one minute. This might wear some of the excess inside the viscous and have it run properly.

Thanks K-man, what is a mechanical stop? and that its seized in engaged mode? I drove it to work hoping maybe it needs to be run in but nothing! It feels and runs ok, no issues with the cooling just the bloody hoover noise! :bangdesk:
