Please help me!!! My car is a BMW E46 318ti 2000 model. When I switch on the ignition the heat gauge goes immediately to the red line (HEAT) despite the car being standing for 3 weeks. There's also a clicking sound on the throttle with the butterfly opening and closing at the same time. Some are saying its earth and others are saying its the crankshaft sensor. I've replaced the throttle, checked relays and the fuses. Any advise?
