E46 318i Special Edition ??

Just curious - was there ever such an E46 as this:

BMW for Sale-2004-318i Motorsport.

Yes there was MSM... Nothing really special about it when you know you can get an individual with everything.

Probably the only thing special about this is the door sills, apart from that you could get everything else on the normal (non-special) editions.

That's not.true, that car is an Individual model. Only difference is that it because it was a 4 cylinder, it was never called 'individual', it was called Special edition. Ask any dealer.

That's why I was surprised at it. It has the "old spec" bumper which stopped in 2002/3. No sports seats. 17in from the 330d. The only individual item looks like the steering wheel - the rest seems standard. Kinda silly to have a "special edition" which is lower specced than both the sports package or individuals :thinking:

I guess the only clever part is the marketing.

Sorry guys but look properly the seats are also in half leather and half suede. BUT i really could be wrong.

Yeah am guessing not a lot of people took it as it had a tendency not to age that well.

There was such a model . It came standard with those old m pack bumpers and the 330d rims and the interior was like the sports pack . It did exist and guess it stands out from the rest of the 318i's .
