E46 318i oversensitive steering

Hi guys,I have a 2004 318i and the steering is oversensitive on the highway.Its quite unnerving when you going 120+ .

Anyone have an idea of what the issue could be?

by any chance do you have mixed tyres ?


different set in front as compared to the set in the back ?

Might not be the brightest question but have you checked your tyre pressure?

I had that feeling with a corsa bakkie once. Tyres were inflated to 310kpa

Having the similar problem with my 318i and got checked out was advised that due having 205/16 @ the front and 225/16 @the back it causes sensitivity on the steering....

its worth a check on urz.....

could be too many things...

start with checking tire pressures and have alignment done then post up alignment sheet...
