E46 318i 2005 brake problem

Hello guys. I need some help. I am a disabled driver ie I drive with hand controls. About a month ago while driving, approaching a stop , there was no brakes. I had to exert extreme pressure and still had to use the handbrake to bring the car to a stop. Managed to get the car home in one piece. Took it to a guy that advised brake booster to be replaced. Got one from the scrapyard and had it fitted. Still the same. We then replaced the check valve. Still nothing. Then replaced the master cylinder ,bleed the system, still the same. Its as if there is no braking power. There are also no fault codes. We decided to check the ABs DSC pump. The port line going to the rear right was blocked so we got another ABS unit from the scrapyard. Swoped out the abs unit and bleed the breaks again. Still the same. I am at wits end and am giving up.
Brake pads have also been replaced and the discs still look good.
Am I missing something?.

This was done so far
1. New brake pads
2. Replaced booster
3. Replaced master cylinder
4. Replaced check valve
5. Cleaned and swoped ABS unit.

Ps. The abs lights are all on . Should it be coded to the part I replaced?

Edit: we removed the vacuum pump and put new seals as well. Nada...

I had the same experience with a 2004 318i auto.

in my case, turns out the Vacuum pump, on the rear of the head, Seal gave way. This allowed Oil to go into the booster messing that up too hence no Vacuum pressure.
another symptom it gave me, when you started the car from cold, while pressing the brake pedal, it made like a bubbling noise under the dash which was the oil in the booster

Replaced the Vacuum Pump with a used known working 1 and had to replace the booster too.

All was finally working Again

Hi. Thanks for the info. I removed the vaccum pump. A bit tricky as there is very limited space to work in. There was oil in the pump. So we cleaned it and replaced the orings. Got this from bmw . Fitted everything but still the same. It seems like there is air coming from the brake pedal side of the booster. Makes a swooshing sound when the car is idling and the pedal is pressed. So I will have to see for another booster.

Also check your crank vent valve, I'm not sure but it could cause an issue with braking as it produces pressure in the engine and could cause oil vapor to pass by the check valve and collecting in the brake booster.

Replaced the booster with a good known working unit. Brakes perfect now.
Thanks for all the inputs
Assuming there was no Oil in the booster?
Then you 1 lucky guy

Then i just bought new seals at Dealer to refresh the replacement pump
