e46 2nd battery?

Um,,

So I took my battery out so that I could clean the wells and so on. Later that day went to go put battery back when I opened my front door alarm went off. Battery was not connected.

So there must be a 2nd battery for the alarm somewhere, but where???

Do you have an aftermarket sound system installed? The capacitor will store a charge for a good while.

nope. And no aftermarket alarm or sound.

All original factory alarm.

You sure you took out the battery? Lol just kidding well if i were you I would be happy thats an awesome safety feature!
