That looks ugly though.

I would just get a replacement set and treat it more gently. Mine never gave issues.

Yip, really an eye sore - they actually create a bigger problem than way. Interesting idea, thoug A better solution might be to recreate the factory design in metal.

My own solution is to just never use the damn things. I have not had any issues with them breaking. In the spirit of sharing, I am donating this brilliant idea to fellow E39 owners.

They are nearly useless anyway. :thumbdo:

They're okay as long as you don't try shove something in there that doesn't fit like a mcds XL coke, and as long as you're patient with placing and removing items from them, they will last. I used mine plenty when I had the 5er and never had a problem.

Yup. They flimsier than a cheap Thai hookers panties.

Rather not use them.
