There is a e39 540i 99 model for R50K , now R48K for sale in port Elizabeth .:joy:
My better half knows I can get loan for R50K , my heart is shouting yes , my head says e36 328i just needs branches etc ( I have a M50 manifold and 3.46 diff spare ) .

Hmmm - I thought about this one as well, but the v8 likes its petrol,
The car looks okay but that front bumper is missing trim, so what worries me what else has been hit / damaged?

I drive my one at least twice a week.
The 525i is a lot lighter on the fuel by 200kms per tank, and is just as much fun, But the sound of the v8 is sooooooooooooooooooo sweet.
It is very tempting
As for… V8 vs 328 – the 540 is a nicer cruiser plus it can blow off most competition in style
