e39 530d Issues?

Afternoon

Future e39 530d buyer...01 model auto
seems to be running smooth however boost seems to be a little low, auto box downshifts are a little clunky
one injector also seems to be shorting out

any other issues I should be on the look out for?

What mileage does it have mine has 228 000km's and box was done already and turbo needs refurbed, had all injectors reconditioned recently.

Autobox is a known weak point on those cars.
Boost issues can be caused by a vacuum leak. At the age of the car it would be worth renewing all the vacuum lines
Swirl Flaps need to be removed (lots of info about this online)
Turbo's are quite solid of the car has been looked after.
Engine mounts are vacuum controlled and also a common point of failure.

Overall they're awesome cars and the engines are solid if looked after. Sadly most of the ones on the market these days are pulled through.
