Hey guys

apologies if this has been covered before, but does anyone know the trim levels E36's were sold in? sportpack individual etc?
Pics would be helpful as well (bonus points if you can point me to an old sales brochure)

Thanks

Individual had leather on the doorcards.
Motorsport had sport seats

Individual Motorsport like the flearider has, had both.

Some have wood trim like the M3 (mine does)

I may be missing alot but thats what I know.

The 1st lot of e36's that came here in 92/93 was 316i, 318i, 320i & 325i. In late 95/early 96, the 318i, 320i & 325i was dropped & replaced by 318is, 323i & 328i.

There were 2 types of 318is.... the Motorsport 1 which had standard features with optional extras & Motorsport 2 which came with full body kit, choice of 16 or 17 mags & other optional extras.

With the 328i, there was the standard like mine & individual like fleariders car, which comes with full body kit, sport seats, etc.... both models also had optional extras.

Then there was the 323i, where everything including the bodykit was an optional extra.

If we talk exterior trim then the Motorsport models came with the M3 bumpers, sideskirts and spoiler. And the wide door beadings.

LoL BMW's are not like VW's where you get trendline, comfortline and sportline to denote a trim package if thats what I think you trying to ask ?

What you got there is a standard 318i, with bootspoiler & sunroof ticked off under optional extras :)

Front Fog lamps, CD shuttle, rear window blinds, ....... those were all optional.

would question the bootspoiler as standard, is that really a standard BMW spoiler with the brake light in there........always thought they did not come with the light there, the shape also......

I think you right.... 2 types of OEM bootspoilers, 1 was the small one without the brake light & the other one freerider got on his car

That bootspoiler looks like an autostyle job :fencelook:

Bog standard, with a boot spoiler.

^ This

lulz

My grandmothers 325i has the same bootspoiler, and its been in the family since new, so no chance its an autostyle jobbie. Anyway thanks for clearing that up.
