So... What do we replace with poly and what do we replace with oem for the best of both worlds, comfort and performance :fencelook:

I would say everything polly but rubber subframe mounts is you worried about noise...

even then i find it hard to say the subframe mounts are letting in more noise but i would rather be over cautious with my advise than have someone unhappy...

you can get any powerflex bushes in the black series but i dont advise it for a street car... normal powerflex range work very well on the street

So poly is better then oem?

From a proven brand like Power Flex yes they are. And the argument about harsher ride etc to me doesn't really hold because any new bush, OEM or otherwise, will feel tauter than old knackered ones you've just swapped out!! The comparison should be between new OEMs and new polys on the same vehicle but how many owners have actually conducted such a back- to-back test...?? Besides the runflat guys have more to be worried about than the poly guys :) :fencelook:

Yes Polly is much better than oem as well as stiffer. I fitted the turner motorsport race bushings which are aluminium, and the car feels like a bakkie with leaf springs every time I go over a bump Lol:fencelook:. I would not suggest it if your car is a daily drive! Polly is the compromise between performance and comfort.

That must make for an interesting ride
