Tyron, try a shop that does some sideline work on german cars. In the USA it's a service of Autozones to have coders that read faults for clients. I went to an Autozone here and the guy had a big fat questionmark on his face. No idea.... Either way, american Autozones are a bit different that the ones here.

Look at workshops that have either a Bosch or Boss Automotive system, with updated software. The Boss is a better system with more functionality.

AN "AA" VEHICLE REPORT DIAGNOSIC TEST AT ANY "AA" TEST CENTRE WILL GIVE YOU FULL REPORT ON ALL ERRORS AND FAILURES TO ANYTHING ON THAT CAR, THEY CHARGE I THINK R350, AND THOSE CODES YOU CAN LOOK UP IN YOUR OWNER;S MANUAL OR CHECK ONLINE FOR A DESCRIPTION TO THAT FAULT CODE E.G ERROR CODE C39,25,29 COULD BE CHECK AIRCON COMPRESSOR...

I CHIPPED MY E90, AND WHEN THEY DID A DIAGNOSTIC IT CAME UP WITH 7 ERRORS AND ALL 7 ERRORS WERE RELATED TO "RESETTING THE RUNFLAT INDICATOR" AFTER I DID THE RESET, NO FAULT CODES.

HOPE IT HELPS, "AA" HAS ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE NEEDED FOR MOST CARS, INFACT ALL YOU NEED IS CARSOFT 6.1 OR LAUNCH FOR AN E36...

Joseph, please post in lower case as upper case is considered shouting and is also difficult to read.

Thanks. ;)
