E36 M3...number plate bulb error?

Hi guys,

I changed the number plate bulb from halogen to LED. Now it shows an error on the OBC but still works. Do any you know a solution to this problem?

I stand to be corrected but I believe one needs to use a Canbus compatible LED.

So I got the LED resistor from Wabi Sabi Midrand - R150. Works perfectly
