e36 m3 misfire when cold and under load

put a tee on the fuel line with a pressure guage and let the passenger check the fuel pressure under load
pump sometimes gets damaged when it runs dry the first couple of seconds without fuel in it

Car did the same thing with the previous pump. Sounds like a plan thou. I'll give it a try

hi guys. Still having this issue. Recently changed knock sensors but still no luck. Compression test done. 10 bar across all cylinders. Any other tips or does any1 have a recommendation of a mech in the DBN area? Im losing hope slowly

A stab in the dark however all indicates a DME fault.

You have now ruled out all the peripheral areas which may cause misfire issues and the only thing left is the DME.

I've tried another dme and vanos control unit. Still no luck

hi guys. ive had the motor stripped and no4 piston has a bit of movement. looks like the top compression ring. ive sent the head to vanderlinde developments to have it checked and worked. Im thinking of doing the 4 pipe bottom end while the motor is apart. and advise on this conversion and what i will need? i cant seem to find any info
