Hey guys,

Does anybody know what all I would need to change if I want to fit an M3 bumper to a non M E36?

Regards

As far as I know, nothing. Bolt off the old bumper, bolt on the new one. For the best results source the flat door beadings to match.

Only thing that needs to be changed is the fog light hanger brackets, as the fog lights sits a little lower on the M bumper.....other than that, the very front M bumper beadings are different, the side ones will fit, but would change the complete set to the smooth looking ones! Can even use the standard bumper stiffener, just clip the M bumper cover onto it

The brake air-ducts and fender liners are also different, standard ones will do but it irritates me to see it doesnt sit flush...

The non M and the M bumper basically has the same thickness of beading so it wont look out of place.

speaking of beadings, do you perhaps have a front numberplate beading, mines broke after hitting a meercat :mmm:

Wrt the beading, only the driver side beading will work.

Passenger side won't work cause that side comes all the way to the numberplate section and it has the 2 curves in it.

That particular beading is hen's teeth to get unless you buy it in a set.

@Gizmo would you sell it?? Lol, I've got the passenger beading, and the drivers side beading from my bumper is good so all I need is the center number plate beading...

Surely there must be some place that does "pirate" beadings?

And does anybody know if i can buy the clips for the bumper separate? I'm also missing one of those:fencelook:

If those are missing then they have been broken off, unfortunately you will need a new bumper cover.
