Does anyone have the non original stuff fitted? how does it line up and how does it look when compared to the real thing?

Will appreciate some advice from the guys who did it before...some pictures of the non original bumper and skirts fitted would be great.

please and thanks

Speak to Brucet... He has this fitted on his racecar 328i and it looks great. He may be able to speak about fitment, although his car isn't an e36 M3.

It all depends which one you get, some of the reproductions are very wavy, but they do fit well, due to the fact that the mounting is just a straight edge.

Whatever you do, don't even think about fiberglass!

The bumper on my 318is was damaged when I bought it, OEM bumper worked out to like 5K IIRC, so I got the reproduction one from Max motorsport for around 1200, it comes with new beadings and mesh (which the OEM bumper does not come with)

You can see the fitment on my signature below

It really does look good on that 318is  is the black lip an additional piece or is it part of the bumper?

As for fibreglass...nooit!!! that stuff looks way off

You do get bumpers with the spoiler, but the one I have has a separate spoiler that comes in the kit
