E36 M3 3.0l Plugs

Hi
I was hoping to fit iridiums or a similar plug to my M3, but I cant find any.

My reason is two fold 1. I dont want to change plugs every service because the Bosch ones are R600+ from BMW and it doesnt look like the local places stock them.

2.I notice at around 7000km the car is slightly hesitant but then after it gets serviced its 100s again, I know on my 16v opels I had to change the normal bosch plugs a similar thing happens and when inspecting the plug you can see some wear on it.

So which plug can I use to accomplish this and where can I buy? I think the NGK Iridium service interval is 50 000km. I am in Cape Town.

doesnt this car come with platinum plugs?
if it does then it doesnt need to be changed every interval

i know my 4dr e36 m3 was +/-R1500 for a set

From BMW,give the parts department your model of vehicle, etc and see what they say, maybe you got crappy plugs in therefore your break up after 7000rpm

Go to the local Diesel Electric - they are Bosch agents and carry the full range, platinum plugs included. In Cape Town they are at 27 Jones Street in Parow, tel (021) 911 0131.

Hi I found platinum plugs at Master parts
R160 each

I think u mis under stood tho, when the car is serviced its fine but once the plugs age +- 7000 km later then there is a little hesitation at mid throttle.

and those plugs are R105 each at BMW
