A RR spec engine is a cretin reading the vanos unit label/tag and creating a whole new series of bmw engines.

From the VIN number I can tell you it's a South African assembled car! Destined obviously for SA.... :rollsmile:

iirc the 1993 M3 was fully imported from germany had suede seats and no sunroof
from 1994 onwards the M3 was assembled in SA
motor and specs were identical
